Top Activities To Do On Maui

This list of ‘Top Activites To Do On Maui’ reflects my personal choices for the best ways to experience the island. I have chosen these activities by using a combination of my local knowledge and my years of working in the hospitality industry. All the tour providers here show a great sense of ALOHA and take the words ‘Hawaiian Hospitality’ to heart. It would be nearly impossible to do every activity there is to do on Maui. 1) ATTRACTIONS

Atlantis Submarines: Discover nature’s deepest treasures…the miracle of coral gardens and indigenous creatures that dwell in Hawaii’s ocean wilderness.

Maui Tropical Plantation: Take a narrated forty minute tram tour through fruit and flower fields.

2) BICYCLE TOURS

Mountain Riders: I love that they have both sunrise and day tours available

Haleakala Bike Company: Haleakala Bike Company is Maui’s most experienced, most affordable Haleakala downhill tour company

Maui Sunriders: Offering the longest ride of all the unguided tours from Haleakala to the North Shore beach town of Paia

3) DINNER CRUISES

5) HELICOPTERS

Sunshine Helicopters: They are my top pick because of the variety of tours they offer. My ultimate adventure would be to to fly over to Molokai and see some of the world’s largest Waterfalls while whale watching from the air.

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters: Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is the premiere helicopter tour company in Hawaii with a unique blend of cultural excursions to the Big Island, Maui, Kauai & now Oahu

6) HORSEBACK RIDING

Mendes Ranch: Explore a part of the island that few locals even get to see let alone tourists!

Lahaina Stables: Ride horses in our big back yard; ride the West Maui mountains.

7) LUAUS

Feast At Lele: A great intimate sit down luau right on the ocean that books out way in advance!

The Grand Luau at the Honua’ula: A short 5 minute drive from our property and also very popular choice.

8) RAFTING ADVENTURES

Redline Rafting: This is an activity that I have never done but is on the top of my list to do! When I was a little girl we had a zodiac and I just think this sounds like such a fun day on the water!

Hawaii Ocean Rafting: Eco tours to and from the island of Lanai invite superb snorkeling and spinner dolphin encounters are quite common.

Maui Adventure Cruises: Snorkel tours serve deli lunches and unlimited sodas, juices and bottled water during the trip.

Ultimate Whale Watch: They specialized in photographic, non-threatening close encounters with Dolphins, Whales & Turtles since 1982.

Trilogy Excurisions: One of the longest running businesses here on Maui. I love their Lanai trip!

11) WHALE WATCH

Maui Adventure Cruises: It is so exhilarating to be in the water with the humpbacks. It is even more exciting to be in a small raft that is closer to the water than the bigger whale watching tours.

Go Kayaking Maui: Maui’s Favorite Adventure Team! Try kayaking and snorkeling in secluded spots away from the power boats.

Teralani Sailing: Each year the Pacific Humpback Whales migrate from Alaska to the coastal waters off Maui.

Piiholo Ranch Zipline: Piiholo Ranch Zipline is located on an 800-acre working cattle ranch, just above the town of Makawao in the beautiful Upcountry Maui region.
